Its a very nice app with easy & powerful tools found in other 3D apps, and a excelent user manual that covers every aspect of the program and serves as learning course for the novice in the 3D world too. Another excellent point is the integrated raytracer renderer, with caustics capability, and camera postproduction filters. Is developed in Java, and this give another goodie: multiplatform (windows, linux, mac), and the major drawback: huge memory needs for complex models... The final word: is a good start point in 3D and you can made complex modelling too. |
