I've tried this on XP and Vista and it works exactly as advertised. I was looking for a program that would password-protect folders on a Home LAN and this works perfectly. I tried a few other programs but they seem to work by "hiding" folders which was not what I was looking for. There's no setup for this on. It's pretty intuitive.
