| 3.0.3 | Jun 12, 2011 | New Release | - Fixed Twitter compatibility. (The API call used to get the following list was deprecated.)- Twitter: Enable the show_ids setting to assign a two-digit short ID to recent tweets to use for retweets and replies (so you can RT/reply to more than just a person's last message). - Some other Twitter fixes/improvements. - "otr reconnect" command and some other fixes. - GnuTLS 2.12 compatibility fix. - Include "FLOOD=0/9999" in the 005/ISUPPORT line at login to hint the IRC client that rate limiting is not required. (Next step: Get IRC clients to parse it.) - Other stuff too small to mention. |
| 3.0.2 | Mar 8, 2011 | New Release | Keeping it short again: BitlBee 3.0.2 is ready! Mostly bug fixes, and a few new toys. * MSN login fixes (@msn.com compatibility). * CTCP support, /CTCP VERSION on Jabber contacts and /CTCP NUDGE on MSN contacts (overuse this feature and I'll remove it again :-P). * The usual bugfixes/improvements. |
| 1.2.8 | Jul 4, 2010 | New Release | The ui-fix branch was mentioned here a few times already, now here's the promised development snapshot. This code's quite stable already (possibly just as stable as 1.2.8), but needs a just little bit more polishing before it can be declared a new major release. People who don't care about the last pieces but don't really like running code from version control can now download BitlBee 1.3dev as a proper tarball. See the changelog and the Wiki page for a full list of changes. And if anything does seem broken, don't forget to file a bug! If you use Debian or Ubuntu, remember that you can also just use the nightly builds. No need to pull stuff from version control or to compile anything. Just run apt-get and you're up to date. |
| 1.2.4 | Oct 17, 2009 | New Release | * Fixed Yahoo! support. * Replaced the join_chat command with something saner. * The usual stability improvements and probably some small new features. |
