Not a single file was synchronized to the target system despite repeated efforts and attempts. Wasted an hour on this; moving onto something else that actually works. Don't bother with this piece of garbage. They also erroneously claimed it could synchronize registry keys between systems; this turned out to be false.
Reviewer: ouzo12 Version: Allway Sync 10.5.8 Date: Oct 15, 2010 Rating:	As far as software goes, this is pretty good, fast and powerful. However, the "free" version is crippled. The license clearly says "Currently, the limitations do not allow Customer to synchronize more than 40,000 files per 30-day period." But this is misleading. They mean 40,000 file COMPARISONS per 30-day period. Its own statistics say that I synced 945 files in the last 30 days. However, because the directory tree I'm syncing is rather deep and contains about 11,000 files, I exceeded the 40,000 limit after a few sync runs. You can exceed this even if you don't synchronize a single file. I'm going to uninstall this piece of crippleware now.

It stops working after a certian number of uses and cant be used again unless you buy it. It's not worth the hassle in even trying it let alone buying it. For the above 'selling' tactics of the Allway creators I would give it a minus star rating if I could. And I give Best Freeware Download poor i star rating as well for promoting this as freeware.

I have been trialing this programme but it stops working after you have run it a certiain number of times saying your 'use' of the programme indicates you have used it excessively and you have to buy it to continue to use it or wait a mnonth before you can use it again! I a not a 'commercial user.' All I am is a home user backing up/synching 2 computers with 500GB drives to a 2 TB NAS unit. It's crippleware, that stops working after a certian number of uses.. For that reason I strongly suggest that anyone looking for a backup/sync application give this programme a miss... It's a shame that this website Best Freeware Download also misleads by making claims software listed here is freeware, but on investigation most of it isn't, and users (like myself) find out its either crippleware, shareware, or trialware.
Reviewer: Morgan Version: Allway Sync 9.0.1 Date: Jan 26, 2009 Rating:	I was very disappointed that I purchased this product. The Free version creates Checksums and the Pro version dose not. If you are a Company wanting to use this program for production, and you need this feature, the pro version will not work for you. Took me a month to get a response from customer service.
