Thank you for giving me the opportunity to review this product.

You may need Win32/Qhost Trojan Removal Tool 1.0 more than you think -- even if you think that you are fully protected already.

Qhost is one of the big boss super-tojans. II can move and hide so good. It is the "ninja" of viruses. What it does is seek control of your computer and internet connection. They don't call it "host" for nothing.

Qhost can cause the following things to happen to your internet connection. It can freeze or lock-up on you while you are using it. You can be on a website and then suddenly be taken to another or taken off the internet. You can try to go to a website but be sent to a different one.
It can even block you from having an internet connection.

It has many alias names that it goes by. It is known as Win32/Hostblock and is a family of trojans (known big from the Agobot family). Among the names are Win32.Agobot, Win32.Agobot.RZ, Win32/Agobot.RZ.Hosts.Trojan, AntiAV.4wg!Hosts!Trojan, Win32/AntiAV.Hosts, AntiGoogle!Hosts!Trojan, Win32.Hostblock, AntiAV.Hosts.Trojan, AVBlocker.Hosts.Trojan, QHosts.Trojan, Trojan.Win32.Qhost (Kaspersky).

I was fighting a war against Win32/Hostblok -- atleast that was what the big name Security product that I used kept detecting it as but it could really only detect it but not remove it. I believe it was finally the McAfee Stinger that zapped it for me.

The countless internet searches that I did looking for a free download that could remove this master ruler never one time directed me to this product. But if only I would have known about this when I needed it maybe It could have helped me.

So I highly recommend this product to anyone who has a computer. You could have Qhost lurking on your computer and not even know it until ...

But don't take that chance, thinking you are safe. Look at the Operating Systems that this product is compatible with and see if you have one.

According to the product information it is compatible with most, if not all, Windows Operating Systems -- from Win 95 up to 2003.

I highly recommend that Proland Software, in the not too distant future, produces another free version of this product or a different one that accounts for newer Qhosts that may be out there, since the product was released on July 31, 2008, and that is compatible for Operating Systems after Windows 2003 and compatible to other Operating Systems as well such as Macintosh.

Qhost is a bigger threat than people realize.

I recently downloaded and ran the product. It found nothing. So that is a good thing. Maybe I am rid of Qhost. But the way it oprerates, I plan on keeping this product handy.

Because it never found anything, I can't endorse it as working, but because it is freely availabale as a possible aid when there are really only a handful of free products out there that address the Qhost issue which is very dangerous, I give it a rating of 4 stars out of 5.
