After searching for what feels like an eternity, I finally came upon a stratego game for download that DOESN'T suck!
Compared to ant_stratego, the one that pops up in 90% of seaches, and compared to "The General", this game is a million light years ahead of the others.
ant_stratego is in French. That's ass. Hands down the worst one out there. (Not to mention it uses Java which is horrid!)
The General would be awesome... if you didn't have to pay 20 freaking dollars to get it! The free version doesn't even let you modify the map... you only get one default setup!! ONEEEE!!!! HOW ANNOYING!
Another good stratego game is the online one, which can be downloaded. It is actually the best one (Can't remember the name) as far as graphics, options, intuitive controls etc etc.... But it doesn't let you go against the computer. That's ass. That's ASS I say!

This stratego has many options, good graphics, is in ENGLISH (Whew finally), and because it has the graveyard on both sides of the board, you can easily tell what pieces are left on the board! Sweet! (That's something no other game has!) The computer is incredibly intelligent, but maybe too intelligent... If I have one qualm it's that even on the lowest difficulty it always seems to know when it's being approached by a powerful piece... which sucks.

However, adding an additional 2P support, making the computer more realistic, these are small qualms. I give it a 4/5! Great game I'll recommend it to everyoe I know!
