The recent 2008 version of NotePad SX is truly wonderful. It lacks only Unicode.

What's amazing is the ability to create any number of .Style files in the same folder as the EXE.

I use it as a portable app. After much searching, I am settling on NotePad SX, Win32Pad, Martins Editor ME and NotePad2. For the writing of text, in lieu of .doc or .rtf, I will be using NotePadSX far into the future.

I hope people look into this dandy little program and see what it can do. Note that the various .Style files even save what the window SIZE is. For printing, look at Export =>Preview in Browser : from where you can print with customization to your heart's content. I am very, very pleased.

This program sucks donkey, you should try Michael J. Hardy's Ultra-Pad Word Processor... Trust Me, Its alot lot better...
