Reviewer: Laraine Version: Prevx CSI - FREE Malware Scanner 1.5.103.21 Date: Nov 17, 2008 Rating:	Fast scanning and easy to use, Found a rootkit which a keylogger was using, but couldn't be picked up by other anti virus protectors. So I tried this. Granted you have to pay to remove it, but the price for the use of it for a year and have protection on your pc or lap top, is only tiny compared to what destruction some things can cause and have to get repaired or even lose. Well worth buying for peace of mind..Would recommend it to anyone.

Even if I wanted PrevX to clean them up, which wouldn't make any sense because the 'infected' files are totally legit, I would need to buy a license. PrevX begins to look like a scam... I would call the scan results pure FUD (Several scans even brought up different results, all with safe and legit programs that are supposed to be 'bad', oh my.), I can imagine all for one purpose; to buy the program. Gee, what kind of other 'scanners' use this kind of FUD-method to persuade possible future users to purchase a product...? Hmmm... Well, I wouldn't pay for this utter nonsense.
