Used strongest 35 pass on 11.9mb folder on removeable disc. Appeared to work correctly and reasonably quickly. However I was able to recover the folder in full by use of Recuva data retrieval software. File Shredder appears to be ineffective. |

I selected a folder to shred (jamie.OWNER ) old file name. It will not shred it. |
