Didn't work properly. Upon uninstall it leaves the LanLights.exe in the Notification Area Icons window. Can't find to delete.

Oops sorry, please ignore my last message... I just realized that if you minimize the Lanlights after installing you get the classic two monitor icon in the notification area at bottom right of your screen. Works great! Thanks. :)

All I want is a simple two monitor icon for Win98SE like you see with XP. Could someone please make one???? I notice others are requesting this as well.

Nobody's mentioned if it works ok with Win98se. All I really want is a "Connected" Icon in the system tray. You mean to say NOBODY'S ever written one to "match" XP? If you can recommend something, please email me! Thanks

Same issues as everyone else was having with lanlight & win7 x64. Then found the following link to network- activity indicator which works well and does exactly what the old xp one did. Highly reccommend this.

Very poor show. Totally unusable in Windows 7 Ultimate x86 & x64 (Retail). Same error as the other two & the CPU usage is totally unacceptable.
This application needs some major re-working and some intelligent programmers working on it.

This program needs some work. Wouldn't install properly, got the same error at installation as the other reviewer.

Error: Overflow (6)
Sub Name: frmMain:UpdateInterfaceInfo(3)
Specific: If Not objInterface.InterfaceName=
st_objInterface.InterfaceName Then .Item(1).SubItems(1) =
objInterface.InterfaceName

Too bad, I was really wanting this to work. I hope this program gets fixed as it's the only one I know of that would get back the XP blinking internet icon in Windows 7. BTW, I have Windows 7 Professional 64 bit.

Uses too much CPU time on Windows 7. From 3% to 5% on a old P4 3.2 Ghz, which is way too much just to have activity lights in systray. Uninstalled it.

On responds to Steve Bliss:

I did not have any trouble what so ever on windows 7 every seems to be very compatible. Perhaps there is an misconfiguration some were in windows. Mebe you have to update your winodws to an newer build.

It pops up an error window after a while on Windows 7, and the lights stop working. I have to terminate it and restart to get the lights back.

The error window says:

Error: Overflow (6)
Sub Name: frmMain:UpdateInterfaceInfo(3)
Specific: If Not objInterface.InterfaceName=
st_objINterface.InterfaceName Then .Item(1).SubItems(1) =
objInterface.InterfaceName
