The typewriter sounds were accompanied by an annoying high-pitched bell sound that also sounded whenever the mouse was used. After uninstalling the program and rebooting the computer I was finally able to eliminate this. (Just uninstalling did not.) While the program was running, the backspace key was accompanied by an annoying bubble popping sound which I couldn't disable. |
